Mr James Colville

Mr James Colville graduated from Trinity College Dublin, and was conferred fellowship from the RCSI in 1973. He completed his Masters in Surgery, Trinity College, in 1978. He is a fellow of the Sports and Exercise Medicine Faculty in RCSI (2003). Mr Colville completed his training in Finland, Switzerland, Scotland and the U.S. He is former President of the British Elbow Shoulder Society, the Irish Hand Surgeon Society and the Irish Association of Occupational Therapists, and is currently Convenor of the Ports Shoulder Surgery course in RCSI and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine RCSI. Mr Colville is the author of numerous research papers and his specialist area is management of the sports injured shoulder.
